Shorts
Once you've selected a market (see Testnet UI Walkthrough) you can open new positions or close existing ones.
Click on the Open a short button in the Shorts tab in your selected market's page.
Input the amount you want to short. You can review the resulting position here before proceeding.
If your selected market supports deposits in different assets, you may select which base asset to spend for opening your position.
Click on the Open Short button. This will prompt a transaction on your web3 wallet.
Once the transaction is executed on the blockchain, your open position will be listed on the left side of the page.
Click on your open Short Position under the Short tab of the page. A modal will pop up.
Input the amount to close from your Short.
Select which of the supported assets you want to receive from closing this short.
Click on the Close short button. This will prompt a transaction on your web3 wallet.
Once the transaction is executed on the blockchain, your position will be closed. You can still see its details under the Closed tab.
